Homemade Salsa and Nachos

This afternoon Dec and I decided to have some nachos for lunch and me our own tasty salsa from a very easy recipe! We are not fans of spicy food and so our salsa is very mild but still full of flavour!

1 tin of chopped tomatoes
Half a small onion
Small handful if fresh coriander
1 lime

1. Strain the chopped tomatoes and pour into a bowl. (You don’t need the juice!)
2. Finely chop the onion and add to the bowl.
3. Finely chop the coriander and add to the bowl.
4. Juice the lime and add to the bowl. (Do this gradually so you can taste the salsa – keep adding until it tastes perfect!)

Easy as that!! We used the whole bowl in our nachos yesterday and it was much tastier than any jar/packet we have tried. On Friday we are having friends round for a BBQ and plan to make it again to go with the burgers!!
